Questions? We have answers!

Why does certification matter?

Do you offer pet sitting/dog walking?

The dog training industry is a highly unregulated one, meaning that anyone and everyone can label themselves as a dog trainer, even if they have no dog handling experience. An unfair burden is placed upon you, the buyer, to know exactly what you are buying. When you hire a trainer who is certified by a professional organization (such as the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers), you can rest easy knowing that your trainer is both knowedgable and competent. Certified trainers have proven through their certification that they possess at the very minimum a basic knowledge of dog training and behavior.

At this time, we only offer pet sitting and dog walking to residents who reside within the corporate limits of Sterling. Please reach out with questions and to get a quote on pricing/availability of these services if you live within city limits.

Can you guarantee that your training methods will solve my dog's problems?

Short answer: No. Long answer: While our training methods have proven to work a vast majority of the time for a vast majority of dogs, no ethical trainer can guarantee success. Dogs are not machines; they are living creatures that are unique and individualistic. Our focus is on training and meeting the needs of each dog on an individual level. Therefore, we do not take a 'one-size fits-all' approach to training.

Where are you located?

Our main office is located in beautiful Sterling, KS. We offer services throughout South-Central Kansas, including the cities of Pratt, Hutchinson, Great Bend, and Mcpherson. A majority of our services are also offered online for your comfort and convenience.

Do I have to schedule an evaluation? Why can't I just schedule a session right off the bat?

Yes! We require that all potential and future clients first schedule an evaluation with us before trying to sign up for private lessons or behavior modification sessions. Our trainers are committed to developing personal and deep relationships with our clients. No two dogs are alike, and the evaluation allows us to decide which one of our services is right for your dog. Plus, it saves you both time and money!

Do you train registered service/therapy dogs?

Currently, there is no national registry for service and therapy dogs. However, our training programs focus on tasks that are common in therapy and service dogs. Please reach out for a quote today if you are interested!

Do you offer group classes?

At this time we do not offer group classes.

Do you have insurance?

Yes! We carry General Liability Insurance as well as CCC (Care, Custody, and Control) Insurance through the Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
